trying to do it all caught up to me today. Stbx didn't show up to sons Christmas show. I picked up both kids and left them at home for him to pick up. I get home thinking he's taken them. Nope fed them fast food and left them to their electronic babysitters. I came home to an over flowing toilet. I lost it. The kids called him to help and I lost it more. Who leaves a wife and two sons to have. I called the dr for anti depressants today and got them. This is way too much to bear. I want to enjoy the holidays.
Given the situation you may have to just behave like a single mom without any expectations from your Stbx. I've learned that once I stopped expecting anything from my ex I was not disappointed. It is horrible that he is being a bad dad - what did he have going on that he couldn't take them to their own Christmas show??
My problem is exactly the opposite. My wife wants to parade them all over town without me. Depressing.
