I made it to Cobb Island today. It was a short sail but I got a late start (starting at 3pm). The wind was perfect and for the most part it was steady at 10 knots off the starboard side of the beam (nice beam reach). At one point in a gust I actually logged 6.1 knots :).
Went to a restaurant for a good dinner.
This makes up for getting nailed today by a simunition round at training. I took it in the right shoulder and it left one hell of a bruise. Those damn things hurt. At least I shot the guy 10 times worse (10 rounds in the ribs and stomach).

Ok, shoulder wound, you'd have had a chance.
It was a beautiful sunset tonight (Cobb Island is known for that). Everytime I am here the sky turns shades of reds and purples that is amazing. Everytime I see it I am just simply amazed.
Ok, enough talk about violence (even if it was trainuing and defense tactics) take care of the shoulder and go do some fishing (or whatever)! LOL
