JASG Enjoyed the pics, thanks. Beautiful homeland there! I had a Norwgian Elkhound, Thor. He just died a couple of years ago at age 16 which is long lived for a 75 pound doggie. Elkhounds and Keeshounds are cousins. Oh to find a lady as beautiful and as faithful as Dakota huh?

They are both great breeds! I love all the Spitz breeds. Beautiful dogs and all have really great personalities.

I took her for a rather long walk yesterday afternoon. Heheh, I tuckered her out! :-)

Every time I took Thor to the beach, he dove right into the surf. The waves didn't bother him at all and you could see and feel his joy. I had to be careful with his food though. He would eat until he exploded and then with his final breath, he would have taken another bite.

Hahah, I hear ya! I once left the better part of a 5 pound bag of dog food on the edge of the kitchen counter. When I came home from work, the bag was on the floor empty!!!!!

I compounded the problem by giving Dakota a fresh bowl of water, as her water bowl was empty and she kept running to it. Man, what a mistake!!!!! I learned the exact meaning of "Sick as a dog"!

She's my little sweety! :-)

And she does have quite a bit of personality. Very smart and when she wants something, well, let's say she can be very persistent! Heheh.

Precious! I just love dogs. I have 2 purebred Boxers. They are mother and daughter. Jo is the mom and her daughter is named Kate. Jo is a UKC Grand Champion. She has earned her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and she is also an RN (Rally Novice) She has shown in Confirmation and in Rally. She is also a registered therapy dog.
My Kate is 7 months old and is starting her show career. She won reserve winners at her first official show at just 6 months and one day old.
