for my female friend (JoAnn), she is having knee surgery at 1030AM and she is a little nervous. She has a torn meniscus, and was in a lot of pain...

I know all about being nervous before a procedure. Sending good thoughts JoAnn's way. Hopefully, they will give her something for her nerves. One time, I was shaking so badly before a surgery instead of telling me to count backwards they just knocked me out. God bless them for that.

Easy schmeasy!

Had it done a couple of times, one or two days of pain and then pretty much back to normal. Cartilage repair is probably the quickest recovery time of knee operations, she'll be feeling better in no time.

I just heard from JoAnn, She is OK but groggy and hungry.
I told her to be careful as the anesthesia can make you nauseous. So we thank you.
