We're having it at a sprotsman's club one of the members belongs to, and aside from food, drink, music and videos and pictures from three-plus years of meetups, gear display and swap meet, we have some fun outdoor events planned.
Three-legged snowshoe race, downhill cross country ski race, uphill sled & toboggan race, snow kayak race, snow angel & snowman contests (someone suggested anatomical correctness as a possible tiebreaker!) and more to come.
JoyRide, if you have the nerve to brave the drive along Lake Ontario that time of year, I'll see you get a front-row place at one of the fires!

Someone mentioned something about accelerant... Bah, just give me a good mix of kindling, twigs and various size branches and it's gonna be The Towering Inferno!!! ;-)
Of all the events planned so far, I think the three-legged snowshoe race will be hillarious and so will the downhill cross country ski event. They have no edges. Kinda hard to turn on them, and because of that very hard to stop when going downhill. Heheh, good thing it's not a steep hill!
