to be alive, I woke up today, got out of bed and I made it another day.....any day on the right side of the the sod is a great day.... Though we all have been through the hell of a breakup or divorce, medical issues to boot.....any day that you are upright and breathing is a great day

It's a great day here as well. Temp to get into the low double digets. The sun is shining, and we've no snow yet - at this time of year any day without snow is great!

Winter is far too long, lol.

Just going to enjoy it for what it is.

I am cat-sitting and apparently I didn't get up early enough to feed the little critters. I heard them in there meowing and then one came in, jumped up on the bed, checked me out and went back to report to the others. I can only imagine what their conversation was!

"Go make sure she's still breathing, see if you can accidently wake her up while you are in there, I'm starving!!"

"Yep, she's alive, and FAST asleep, you want her woke you go do it ya wussy!"

Pemd - thanks for the reminder. This has been a horrendous year for me - 2 surgeries (one almost fatal) with a third coming up. losing my dog, the illnesses of my best friend....but you are right! We are alive and that is such a wonderful thing.
