OT--I GOT FRIGGIN' SUNBURNT!!!

Damn it. It isn't a bad one but I got a little too much sun in only one place!!! The way I was sitting on the boat today left more of my left arm exposed than normal so I have a 3 inch section of sunburn on the upper part of my left arm.

It was cloudy and I was sitting under the Bimini all day too. Crap Crap Crap. I hate getting sunburns. I normally just get really tan (my forearms are dark dark right now). Yes, I have a bit of a farmer's tan (I hate taking my shirt off).

Oh well.....Someone has to live the Jimmy Buffett lifestyle around here. I have been running around all weekend with no shoes, sailing around, and just enjoying things.

Well Heave old buddy, you ain't the only on hat got burnt....I was out driving around with my daughter yesterday and I got burnt too. I hope it don't blister...I thought I had enough of a tan to go without a hat ...yep the coconut is brilliant red today....I have had it burnt before and when it peels it isn't a pretty sight........looks like flakes of dandruff as big as nickels......

At times, I do a lot of driving and my left arm is tanned whereas my right arm is pale. Not very sexy. A friend of mine told me to join E-Harmony but before I start the dating world, I needed to go to a tanning bed and try to even out...lol...I'm not ready to date.

I got me a good one today too!! My knee caps feel like I could roast a hot dog on 'em, and I am not even going to talk about my shoulders! So silly!

I didn't get it that bad. I guess it was because I sat on the Port rail all day on a close reach that I got it that way. I usually take my arm and rest it on the Bimini Frame and that is how I got it. Usually I am moving around a bit more too because the autohelm is on but the winds were so strong today that I didn't get much of a break. I did about 24 miles today in 6 hours. That isn't a bad day.

The temps are quite pleasant but the bugs chased me into the cabin again tonight. Thank God I have bug screens.
