You don't really like these things .... doi you?
"my life is a day by day experiment in really bad decisions" Don't rang a bell :)
I have some elements of this. I had so much identity into being a husband, I really had to remember what I liked. I still struggle with this.
This question is the close cousin of "who are you", I think.
*probably should go to bed*
It will come back to you if you move away from that relationship. Not all at once, but slowly, you remember, when there is space to do so.
or walking into "the empty"
I was just talking to someone else here about how their life is all emptied out, and saying how most of us feel some envy, we have our times of feeling suffocated by what our obligations are, expectations of us, jobs we hate, houses that starve our finances, kids who depend on us, and all the noise...the racket rushing through our heads with all our pains, unmet expectations of our own, disappointments, resentments, unfinished business, fear,...whatever.
That emptiness, or emptying out, which is not a pleasant feeling, is like some kind of blessing...tilling the soil before we begin to cultivate our next crop.
I do know what I don't like though.
To long to list.
I guess that's a start.
What I liked during - was a lie
What I like now - seems elusive
Hate seems a better word. I'll save that list for your next thread *sighs*
