I have to take my hat off to that man. The Mayor witnessed a domestic assault taking place and he stepped in. He got the hell beat out of him but he saved the woman and the child from an assault. If more people were like this mayor then this world be a better place. He stared down danger and got hit with a metal pipe. Truely a hero!

I read the article. Nice to see people stepping in, rather than just sitting around like asswipe bystanders. I read the article and the mother of the attacker, actually blamed the mayor for getting her son arrested. She said if the mayor hadn't have stepped in, then none of this would have happened. Freakin' pathetic.

I haven't read the article or seen any pictures, I'm basing this on Rmans comment about the attackers mother being upset about her son getting arrested....

Asking this as generic as possible, but I'm sure you get my gist anyways.... Are the Mayor and the attacker different skin colors?

What a horrible way to treat a shark.

Now my nice tasty 7 year old girl...she'd be a treat. But my ex....bleck. It would probably make the poor shark sick.

(We were just at the beach and I kept teasing her about getting eaten.)
