That jolly old fellow loaded up his truck with a power rack and olympic weight set and just dropped it off at my house! :-)

The bad news is I can't really play with it until Sunday. I've got a hike tomorrow so I need to prep for that tonight. :(

Oh well, maybe work will be kind to me Sunday and I'll have the whole day to myself. The power rack requires assembly and I want to use it for Monday's workout.

I gotta tell ya, the last week's been absolutely crazy! Working lots of hours, last weekend I did three meetups, plus worked, plus washed and waxed the truck, worked my butt off this week, took this afternoon off and drove all the way to Elmire (New York Barbells) to pick the equipment up. It's a little over 2 hours each way.

So tomorrow I have an outing that was going to be a snowshoe event, but the weather isn't cooperating, but no biggie. Still a nice hike of about 8 miles or so in the Adirondacks near Old Forge.

Some folks want me to go to a Happy Hour meetup tomorrow night, but by the time I get back from the hike I won't have enough time. Might not even get back before the band starts. Think I'll blow that one off.

Okay, so who's volunteering to assemble my power rack while I'm out hiking tomorrow? :-)

Okay, I couldn't resist. I took the barbell out of its packaging and opened the two boxes of power rack components.

Hmm, it's going to be more than a little assembly effort on the power rack! Heheh.

TDS Fitness Equipment. I got the cheapest power rack they have. I wouldn't put it in a gym, but it should be more than enough for home use and the weights I expect to be using. Heheh, this boy ain't gonna be squating or benching much over a couple hundred pounds. At least I don't think I am.
