About 3 months ago after my company's monthly lunch at Chili's, I'm sitting in my cubicle, and I was getting the nods, and I must have went out cold. Heheh, I was awakened to the project manager standing in the cubicle entrance, not quite knowing whether to wake me or just walk away.
He's a cool guy and we both got a kick out of it.
I went to the dentist to get a tooth filled and just about fell asleep in the chair. Half an hour of nothing to do, was Heaven!
(I think the dentist thought I was crazy..... But I still remember how wonderful it felt.)

The way I look at it is life would really bite if I couldn't laugh at myself every now and then. ;-)
Life sure would bite if we couldnt laugh at ourselves... I ALMOST had a DOH moment this past weekend, but you all would really laugh at me if I told you that story :) Laughter really is the best medicine....
"Thank you; I've worked hard to become so." :-)
But I'll tell ya one thing I have learned. There's no amount of direct work we can do to be happy and fulfilled. That is, we can't just will it to be so. It takes a lot of hard work on other areas, areas that permeate all other aspects of our lives.
It's the journey, and if we keep our eye on that ball and not the destination, then one day, lo and behold, we find ourselves there.
The destination is always awareness, nothing more. Sometimes that's not an easy thing to grasp in times of hardship and adversity.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Because I know somsing you dun know."
"What's that?"
'I'm not left handed!"
'Neither am i"
Andre was even more impressive in person. When I shook his hand, it was amazing. My whole hand including all the way up past my wrist totally disappeard in his grasp. The man was truly monumental!!!
