Steak - I have an indoor grill. I trim the fat off, then season them with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I sear them six minutes at a time, turning them three times (24 min. total) - perfect medium rare steak.
Side dishes - green vegetable - broccoli, asparagus, peas, salad or fresh green beans - sometimes a squash sautee (zucchini, crookneck and yellow onion cut, and sauteed in butter with salt, pepper garlic and maybe a little splash of wine.
Starch - rice, baked or mashed potatoes, fresh corn. Sometimes I'll make potato salad.
I might add some garlic bread.
We eat pretty simply, but always fresh foods or something I cooked. I avoid canned and frozen things.
