Well, I am back in the saddle. The first night in a few weeks that I am back at work. It only took me an hour into my shift to get into something.

Delt with a wanted subject at the local McDonalds. Searched him incident to arrest and found a bunch of marijuana on him. Ended up charging him with possession with the intent to distribute.

Feels good to be back at work. Have a social gathering to go to tonight as well

Well, we found some more Marijuana on another stop last night. It wasn't as much as I found on the other guy but it was something. It wasn't too bad of a night.

I have been getting a lot of support at work. Sometimes, it isn't the best support (A lot of Forget that b*tch) but it is better than nothing. I am not the type to be spiteful or mean. She was meaningful enough for me to spend 7 years of my life with and getting back together hasn't been totally ruled out. Thing is, I have moved on and it was actually easy to do. There will always be a little pain there, but I also realize that pain is what shapes us as human beings. If we are able to get back together then that is great but if we don't there will always be the chance that another person will come along.

Just keep you head up if you are having a hard day and realize, it will pass. Say that in your mind when you get down...It will pass.

It is so good to hear you talk like this Heavetoo.. It means that healing has started.. Just hang onto this feeling for the next time the wave comes and threatens to knock you off your feet, and it will.. It is soon into your healing but I love what you said in the last sentence , that this will pass.. That is one of my favorite things to say.. This too shall pass.. Life is like that, if we just wait but a moment it will change.. I always remember that and remember the times when I am on the mountain like you are now for when I hit the valley,. i love cop stories so thanks for sharing, our very own daily strength cops show. and as far as social outing, way to go. great attitude, keep moving forward, never know where the future leads us. it may not always be what we want, but i believe that the plan is in place. i for one am going to try to enjoy each day on my journey.
