Holy Crap. I just found out how expensive this is going to be and I am beside myself...
So I researched online and at msn.com I found recomendations for Completecase.com.
For $249.00 It gaurantees court approval or my money back. It is also supported by fox news, NBC, abc, CBS, and TIME. Has anyone done this?
It says over 90,000 satisfied users to date? Is it worth the savings.
Key points, split is amicable, we have already agreed on terms and have no kids...

Any thoughts?

I truly can't remember if we used CompleteCase or DivorceDoneRight .. but that's how I got divorced. We completed their online forms, they printed it out correctly guaranteeing the courts would accept the documents (which they did, we walked them to the courthouse and 3 months later the Judge stamped us free and clear.

You can pretty much do a divorce fairly cheap and on your own with no attys. The key is being agreeable on all terms.

Have a cousin that did it this way...as long as it is non-contested and are no issues, why bother spending the big bucks. God for it.

Thats not a problem at all. I heard there is even some software for $30 you can do it ALL yourself, but I just read some horror stories on filling it out wrong and how the courts dont appreciate them

If you don't have any big issues, go for it. There is no reason to involve attorneys.

We have a mediator, to save money and make sure that our legal butts are covered, due to complex issues. No way around it for us. But, our choice is saving Us about $16k

Sometimes you really Need to look at the cost aspect of the divorce before you start picking Anything.

Thanks for all the advice. We talked over all of our finanances over breakfast one morning and thats it. no fault... no complications. At least thats what I am filing as... No need for the courts to know what he has done since that will add to it too, so I've read.

I agree, if you aren't fighting over child support and property it is the easiest way out.
