First things first - I WON IN COURT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He actually showed up. I swear, I almost soiled myself when he walked into court.
It's all a blur at the moment, but I do remember this...In defence of himself for walking out in the middle of the night without warning he said, "Your honor, if she hadn't nagged me constantly about the money and if she had just sent me a Happy New Year text, I wouldn't have left".
I SHIT YOU NOT. Even the judge waved his hand and shook his head.
And I must say - I LOOKED BANGIN' this morning. I have lost a ton of weight through the stress he put me through and my illness. My makeup was impeccable. My dress - professional yet stylish. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I ROCK.
Seriously, it was a sad, sad moment in our history. It didn't have to be this way. San

My divorce was final 1 March. I went out to dinner with my g/f. Now I can't say I have a wife and a girlfriend. :(
It was 5 years in the making, so it was pretty lack-luster. No residual emotions of sadness, joy, just another day.
I think a huge congratulations is in order.

What did I win? My dignity, that's what. Oh, I was awarded $2600, which I will never see a penny of. But I won my dignity. I could stand up and tell my story, to other than you guys who REALLY know what that kind of circumstance is like, and have it dignified, not belittled, as Kevin used to do.
No reason to be sad about my divorce, both parties are happier, we've been civil and out to dinner on many occasions with our respective partners.
