Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Continue no contact, and consider deleting all her pictures and put away any gifts or mementos from her. The sooner you forget her the sooner you will heal. And before you go into another relationship, work on your happiness as an individual. Be satisfied even of you are alone. I would stay unattached for at least a year, enjoy going places, doing hobbies, read up on spiritual and uplifting books or articles. If you are happy as an individual and this happens again you have a better chance of surviving. But if you are very dependent on another person for your happiness you will be crushed.
Hang in there Masterno! You can do this. Stay no contact and start healing yourself. I know it is hard. So many of us are going through similar things. LoveSpring has great advice!!
So narcissist...just have to heal. Part of me misses her but she is manipulative (sent me a picture of the teddy saying it was named after me).
My Natasha is dead. Just some body walking around.
Thanks again
I hope you get better and start healing, Masterno. She said she did not hear from you and when you countered she said you were not persistent enough. How persistent does one need to be? Enjoy working on yourself, do not view as a chore but something that should grow into you like a second nature. Some people started doing hiking or mountain climbing, another joined a rowing club, to have something to look forward to once in a while. I did some traveling on my own and took my time. By the time I met this woman who became my wife I have learned quite a lot from people and my own reading in how to be in a healthy relationship. Take care, my friend.
