Went to mediation today, and right from the start, he was acting like this was a bad idea, and a waste of time. Well, he was right. He is an A*&^&%^&**HOLE!
But me? Guess what I am? I am a materialistic, money hungry bitch who needs to get a full time job and put the kids in day care so I can work a full time job.
When I told him I work, he says, (in this tone that I LOATHE) Yeah, part time. Thats when I told him to F OFF and threw a pen at him! Oops!
You see, according to him, parenting is NOT a job.
And I guess he wants me to get a full time job so he doesnt have to pay the $650 in child support. Yup, Im supposed to get a job so he doesnt have to pay as much child support.
Am I wrong, or is does this not sit well with any of you? Hey, I AM looking for a full time job, but right now, the job I have A: Pays pretty well for the area I am in and B: Allows me to work when my kids are in school so I dont have to pay child care.
So, off to court we go.

I don't get what you having a full time job has to do with his child support obligation either. The state sets the guidlines and it's based on a percentage of his income. You can look it up on the internet. It doesn't have anything to do with you... unless you're seeking more than the state imposed minimum. In that case, he'd have to agree to it, or you'll have to prove your kids "need" extra money for some reason.
