"How fortuitous"!!!! She exclaimed, as she saw the cabin. She was very thristy after spneding the day being carefree. She knocked on the door, hoping for a drink of water from a kind stranger.
As the door swung open, she gasped in amazement. It was her prince!!!! But, was it??? Flys were buzzing around her poor princes head and he was quite unkempt. He reeked of booze and vomit, his eyes were bloodshot and he had gained 50 pounds. He looked at her sheepishly, and an ancient toothless woman of the night brushed past her out the door. She took pity on him, as all he had had to eat was some poor squirrels he had had shot with an arrow in the forest, and begged her father the king to send him food and a doctor.
As the price lay there recovering for the syphallis, and eating the first fine meal he had in years, he wondered what it would have been like, living a decent life with the beautiful princess, but realised he would have just ruined her life, and knew he had done the right thing. You see, he knew he was a pig and a wastral, and she was too good for him. So he died happy, in the stinky cabin, because the king made sure he had food for the rest of his life and kept him free of disease.
The princess was worshipped by the people and lived to be 150, remained beautiful, and had a statue erected in her honor. She had made all the people happy.
A young couple meets falls in love and does what comes naturally. The young girl becomes pregnant. As her first trimester comes to a close a Magic Fairy appears....."Bibbity boppity boo", she waves her magic wand and the child appears in mom's arms....a totally healthy happy sleeping-through-the-night 2 month old child.
The couple is enthralled. This isn't difficult. No mishappen body for mom. No hemroids. No saggy breasts. No long painful labor. Heck, no getting up 20 times in the middle of the night.
The child is totally healthy. No diseases. (And no fighting over which parent will get up and change the sheets or clean the carpet because the child threw up for the 3rd night in a row.)
But mom and dad are still getting a bit tired (and the real expense of raising a child is starting to sink in)... Just as the thought crosses their minds at 6 months....the Magic Fairy appears again, "Bibbity, boppiy, boo", and with a wave of the magic wand, the child is a fully grown, loving, straight-A student, athlete, ready to head off to college, and get a part time job to pay for it all for themselves.....
The End
Around here, men get all that AND their fairy princess, too!
A LOT :)
