Now What?

I know logically that I shouldn't be with him.  Now that I've cut all ties, I'm lost.   He was my best friend, my lover, etc...   Now, in the middle of the day, I want to call to tell him about my day...   I stop...   it hurts.   It hurts that I was worth so little to him.   I believed everything he said.   I still believe he loved me to his ability, that's just not very much.    What do I do next,   We had made plans for "forever".   Now, forever will never come.

Try to stay strong. It hurts like crazy in the beginning. You need to get used to the void of having him in your life. I wish I had strong words of encouragement. You will get through this and you will amaze yourself with how strong you are. Stumble through the next several weeks/months and do what we all do - try to put your best foot forward and focus on yourself. Your gut told you that you guys weren't going to be together, listen to your gut. Rely on your friends and come here to vent/talk out. You are not alone, but I realize it's hard as heck.
