Hi there all of you. I am the woman who has been absent from this site for awhile. My spouse left me in 2010 while I was away in some church retreat. Upon my arrival there was a note stating he was sick and contagious with Hepatitis C and needed to leave us all. To make a long story short it was never Hepatitis C; but then again I knew that. He was having ana affair with his ex girlfriend from 22 yrs ago. He visited Florida without me and met up with her and came back to NY and left his family and moved to Florida with her and he is still with her today. He was a pastor and my life crumbled. I though I would die and at times i wished I had. I never saw it coming; never imagined he was capable of such an ugly act but he did it. He left us, left his church, his job, NY everything just to be with her. Three years later; alot has happened with me. I met up with an old friend who went through similar sitution as mine only not so drastic. We began developing a friendship that led to a relationship. We fell in love and now my life begins. When I thought I would never fall in love again or move forward I have. I am getting married April 9th to this wonderful man. So there is hope even after such a drastic situation. You can move forward and begin life again. It doesnt end just cause they walk out on you. It begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So hang in there all of you and be strong and know that there is hope. It just takes time.
