Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Either way, it does seem to be a good way to handle it. If we do truly love someone, we have to be willing to let go, totally and completely, as painful as it might seem. It's really best for both parties. If it's meant to be, it will be. If not, it's best to not prolong the pain and suffering.
Best of luck and I do hope you two can work things out and be happy together. :)
My girlfriend and I both agreed our relationship progressed way, Way, WAY too fast. This time around we are taking it a bit slower, though to tell you the truth it just doesn't seem to want to go slowly! ;)
Another thing I did was had a very open discussion with her about trust. She's really been hurt and badly by several men in her life, including her ex-husband. She admits she has a trust issue. I told her if she does want a long-term relationship with me (and she says she does) then it's essential she trusts me, as I trust her implicitly. If she can, we can continue, otherwise it's in both our best interest we part as friends. I guess what I'm saying is make sure any issues around the breakup are discussed and understood by both of you.
