I have communicated this to her over a hundred times. At this point, I just need to get it through my head that actions speak louder than words. I feel I have to take the next step to move on and create my own happiness in life and not depend on someone who doesn’t give it to you. It was very hard for me to pretend. I wanted to hug her, kiss her, hold her but I couldn’t.
Like you, She was miserable. She eventually met someone else and we broke up.
It wasn’t my fault. In the beginning, I cut class to hangout with her. I brought her favorite treat regularly. I called her every night to say goodnight. I took her out wherever she wanted. I did everything for her and she dumped me for some guy who had sex with her and dumped her.
We got back together but I wasn’t willing to go the extra mile anymore. I was waiting for her to go the extra mile and put in more effort but she didn’t.
Perhaps you’re not putting in the extra effort either. Maybe breakup and find someone else.
