I was in an awful relationship two years ago. He was abusive and controlling and I left. It followed with numerous court cases and I finally was rid of him. It was a very very traumatic experience. However, I didn't deal with my emotions.
In fact I just decided to get into another relationship a few months later. Whilst this brought me temporary satisfaction. I loved him. I still do. It soon came to light that those feelings I hadn't dealt with, they caught up. As they always do.
I started feeling depressed, lashing out at my boyfriend, I started comparing, I started feeling anxious. Panicking. Not only did I lose peace, but I lost my boyfriend too.
I will only recommend that you take some time out for yourself. I wish I had taken a break from my boyfriend and gone to therapy. I would have still had him.
Lots of hugs and love your way. Keep strong. There's a lot of people who are or have gone through this x
If you still did not recover from the previous relationships, what makes you be with another person? If you are still attached emotionally to one person, the other person will not heal you. It is all the opposite. You'll feel you do something that against your current emotional state.
May be all you need is just a break from everyone. To be on your own. Is it possible? You do not have to break up completely...just take a break.
Do not do anything to yourself!Just DO NOT! Life will be different for you! You will be happy!
I am 44...had many romances before I married. Loved, broke up, was betrayed..I know how does it feel when nothings matters and you do not have energy to live this life.
Now I am married for 14 years to a very emotionally abusive man, 2 kids, one is Autistic..I can not divorce because I can not survive financially without my husband. I am educated, smart and creative person, very strong willed..live in the best country in the world..and I am trapped and feel like my personal freedom was taken from me. My life is a nightmare.
But...even I dream big! Dream about LOVE! Dream about good man I will meet some day! Then, I loose the hope and get depressed. Than, again I dream!
I am sure you are younger than me, possibly your circumstances are better.
Find courage to get out from this emotional trap! You will come out with solution. Follow your heart not your depressing thoughts.
