Yes you are right life is not black and white good people make bad choices dosn't change the fact if the messed up the messed up and they should have to live with there choices.

But the reason people cheat is different from person to person but the main reason is I think it is a ego booster.

The reality of facts show that cheating is more common than not. We live with friends and family, at times shocked to see that the picture perfect of all smiling together, on that frame hanging on the wall, is nothing but a huge lie.

Yet, life goes on with the many reasons some people find as a need to keep the sanctity of the family going:
Money
Religion
Money
Status
Money

Looking at the news, facing daily political individuals, golf entertainers, celebrities of all sorts (I feel so bad for Sandra Bullock who really thought her husband became this good guy...) and I could go on with the long list, but it happens right here, with the woman and the guy next door.

It just makes me think... what is true to one's heart and what is lie? Mark Sandford really loves the Argentinian woman, as much as his political position.

Yes...but they should at least be honest with the other person, but yet they cannot be honest with themselves so how could I expect anything else from the cheater. It's an ego boost for them and I guess it's worth f'in up a family or two, kids, careers, home-lives, just to get a "piece" of what they think is "greener grass".

I doubt if there are very many "nice" people in jail. Ergo - I doubt whether many "nice" people cheat. I was miserable in my marriage. I was ignored, no sex, no touching, no companionship but I didn't cheat on him. I stayed with him - thinking and asking and begging him to work on our marriage. He was a bad person, and I was trying to make the best of him - in the end his badness came out into the open.

I don't know ununderstand the human side and to error is to be human. For me it can all be avoided by not putting yourself in that situation. I've read about affair proofing your marriage if that's possible. It made sense it talked about not putting yourself in the situation. I know I would get invited to happy hours by these single girls I know at work. I would always decline...I wanted to get home to my family. And when I did want to go out I certainly wasn't going out with them. A few of the girls I know and really thought I could be friends with them...but didn't I have that at home with my stbx?? Why look for something if in theory you already have it? She was suppose to be the one I could talk to and relate and laugh with. I don't know. I feel like I don't know much these days.

I really don't think there is a good reason to cheat if you are unhappy, get out. With that said if you repeat it and lie over and over again then you are worse because you are showing no respect for the other person and are showing that you just don't care for anyone but yourself. I just think cheaters are crap no matter if it is physical or emotional.

I married her and had a kid with her. I know she's not evil.

I just wished she warned me first before she pulled out my heart through my testicles.

the title assumes that good people screw people that they are not supposed to and that they are still good people.

i disagree with that premise.

anyone who cannot even commit to screwing only their spouse surely is unable to commit to anyone extended out from there. therefore, they sure can't be considered as being very competent at goodness.
