You always have God, a tree, or the squirrels to talk to.
Totally get ya on that one. :)
DS is always here to talk to. and we're not really "there" if you catch my drift.
If I am at home, I watch American funny videos, it takes my mind off stuff and laughing is good for the soul!!!!
it was great. maybe getting away on talking to YOURSELF via journal would give that voice in you a safe place to process
I don't drink, and I don't endorse drinking. Club soda with lime is an excellent thirst quencher and bar tenders are great at small talk. Often times you can strike up a conversation with another customer who is alone.
OK, OK, I know this isn't the best idea possible, but Its all I've got right now.
Even just a day trip to a mountain or lake along for some hiking or kayaking will do wonders for you.
I think it's important to be alone and really listen to your heart and mind. Instead of constantly seeking distractions as an escape from the work that we have to put in to healing ourselves. Of course though, we all need support! So come back to DS when it serves your needs or spend quality time with family and friends.
Nature is key... get out there! And I don't mean walking on pavement in your neighborhood :)
