So I had been in a relationship for10 years. I recently became single. To be honest I been single for about 3 months going on 4. I just feel at this point I am losing touch with reality. My ex fiance had been adopted. Growing up we were highschool sweet hearts. We met at his bday party and didn't know each other and decided to start dating. When your young your very dumb. So any who. The person I been with for so many years had always been by my side. I got used to sleeping with that person and doing many things. Then things got a little bit out of control. His mother who never been in his life decided to move in. Knowing that she's a crackhead and given her kids up I was kind enough for her to stay with us. Things spiraled out of control where she got to comfortable and started to run my relationship. Then my household. To the point where she laid hands on me and accused me of trying to beat her when she threw her hands on me because of a piece of chicken. As funny as it sounded she mentioned I needed to provide for her cause She was diabetic sleeping around with different men and bringing them to my apt at time. She had ruined my relationship and my ex had let her put her hands on me and manipulated my fiancee. I had a strong mentality to get up and leave cause I know I wasn't going to let someone lay hands on me yet alone not have someone stick up for me in my own home. After we had broken up I lost in touch with reality. I been told I am stuck in a one minded mind set. How could you get over someone you been with so long? I haven't been eating properly. My mind set has been affecting me at work. Just I feel like I don't know how to get over it and let things go. My relationship I had in the past wasn't the greatest. I was in an abusive relationship where things were physical. As a teenage adult I know that an abusive relationship isn't worth getting abused for. I had created this strong mentality were I didn't need anyone or a relationship for that matter. Somewhere down the week I just started to lose my mind. I can't focus. I get ditzy when I'm around him. I just hate the fact I can't get away from mind set being with him knowing I could be with some one better.

I asked him to do a cookout today just so I could be with him . He agreed but I think he just did so to be nice. He's been with that woman all weekend its been killing me.
