Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
First of all, stop blaming yourself and focus on your strengths. You may not feel strong but you are. To survive whet you live with, you have to be strong.
On average, someone in abusive relationship (verbal, mental, emotional abuse ARE domestic violence, it isn't just physical) will leave 7 times before they get out for good. NONE of this is your fault. I encourage you to contact an agency that provides domestic violence services. They can help with an escape plan, shelter if needed, advocacy, help with a restraining order if needed, etc. They would be a great source of support for you. If you need help locating a provider, send me a private message & I will help you confidentially. Its part of what I do for a living. My sister is a DV survivor so its something I'm quite passionate about. Hugs to you!
