I had such good examples in parents and how a marriage should work. When I left 3 weeks ago I moved back in with my parents. My mom works from home answering phones for Pizza Hut on Friday and Saturday nights. My dad always takes her up a snack mid way through her shift.
He always makes sure he helps with dishes, laundry, cooking and anything else that needs doing while she works and while he works she does the same.
Why couldn't have he been caring like that instead of always worrying about himself and when he was going to get his next drunk. Or even offering to help out with cooking, cleaning or anything else that needed doing while he stayed at home all day and I worked and went to school.
I don't understand how he could have been so selfish.
So on days like today when I am wondering to my self if I truly made the right decision, I look to my parents and see what they have and know that is what I want and that is what he can never be.
So it does get easier...:)

The Asian girl said I wish I was the smartest one so I can get off the island. Genie zaps her and she turned in to a man and he walked across the bridge.
