you hold on for your daughter
it is that simple reason when all others fade or hope is lost
you hold on for your daughter
you on because you can
storms will pass
hope will last, and your little girl grows because of you
you won't know where your strength will come from
you will doubt yourself - - -(not really a bad thing, it shows that you are trying to objectively do the best for your daughter)
I hope the best for your daughter and you
your mom knows that you gotta choose between her granddaughter and herself, your mom wants her granddaughter in your care
so take of yourself too
take care and i'll hold a thought for you all
As you said giving up some parts of yourself to provide for your daughter is a part of life, but there are limits with that as well. Because if you dont take care of yourself, you can't take care of her, or others in your life.
We all want to be the strong one and maybe we think that we should be the one to take care of everything and everyone. In reality, we all need each other in order to not only support and take care of each other, but to tend to ourselves.
I know times have been hard it seems like everything is hitting you all at one and it appears there are still struggles going on for you. I guess one thing that will always be consistent in life is that we all learn as we go through the days is that there will always be something that will come in our lives that can cause us to struggle, its like its inevitable that some shit is just waiting for us right around the corner.
I could be cliche again and say that things come in to our life to make us stronger. Which really seems to ring true, no? I mean, shit just comes and will always come in our life that will cause a riff in our tide, (as another put it), cause us to lose our footing or grounding and sometimes, just flat out shake our very soul. But in all this, it is what will have us find strength within that we didn't even know we possessed, so we can continue to move forward, the best way we know how. Which is what you have, are and will continue to do so to provide not only your daughter, but yourself and those around you that you love, the best of what you want for them and most importantly yourself.
stay strong and know, you are doing everything in your ability to do that.
Wishing you a peaceful and happy Holiday.
