Have you tried talking to him and telling him how you feel? That you need to understand just what he is thinking.....and also that, while you may share some blame, this is not all your fault?

Yes. Yes I have. I've taken responsibility and been honest with my pain. And it doesn't matter. He doesn't care.

I reached a point where i couldn't bare it anymore. I have been married for 15 years, the last 10 with no affection, communication, help with anything or any physical contact (except and occasional peck)

My stbx shut down both physically and emotionally all those years ago. When I confronted him and said i couldn't stand living this way anymore, he couldn't understand. To him everything was "fine" and he was content just going through the motions. I do wonder if your hubby is clueless as well?

Maybe when you reach that point of telling him you can't keep going this way......then he may finally speak up or at least face the problem Good luck

Hi WAI. So sorry that you're in this situation. Unfortunately, you can't 'make' him do or feel anything, so all you can do is focus on you and what is best for you. He is totally responsible for his own emotions, decisions, choices and behaviors, but if that results in him treating you badly, then you have the choice. You can't change him, so you either accept it (and some people do because they value themselves so little), or you can change the setting and move on with your life. So, the questions you need to ask yourself are these: Do I deserve this? Am I worth more than this? Do I value myself so little that I let him treat me like crap? Is this what I want for the rest of my life?

You can see where I'm going with this. If he really doesn't care, it's time to find someone who will value you beyond treasure, because that's what you're worth!!!

some times not saying anything is saying a lot. I'm the type of person who needs to think and gather my thoughts. I'm. not saying that's what's wrong with him but just because he is distant doesn't mean he doesn't love u.

I hope he does love me, but I also think I need to prepare myself to move on. At this point it doesn't even matter if it's him or me..... I want him and he doesn't want me. At some point I have to accept that....

Exactly the same situation. 18 years married my wife never ever said a good word or a compliment about me. I know that I am not the most beautiful man but I am not and the most ugly guy. This situation hurts a lot. She always says good words about other people and never about me. Also I know for fact that she doesn’t love me and is for me only for our boys. You hope that your husband loves you but my question is how someone is in love and never says a good word about. I don’t know. I hope everything to be better for you. That sounds frustrating! It sounds like there is a lot more going on and you should or at least try to talk to your husband about. I am so sorry you are in this situation, is there anyone you can talk to for support, friends, family, church? Prayers to you!
