Sad thing is... when a person dies, there are many who come to grieve with you. When you divorce there isnt that support system there and many times you grieve alone. Thats why this place is so great.

One, is when you file for the actual divorce after a long separation, another one is when the divorce is final. A third is when your ex remarries.
I want this separation but it is still very hard. Your whole life is changing and it is scary and very sad. Just remember it is normal to feel that way and it will pass. Good luck.
No matter how bad a marriage is - the husband and wife relationship is the most intimate one there is. You become one! When divorce enters the equation you grieve the loss of your spouse, the loss of your best friend, the loss of what you hoped for the future, and even losing some of yourself in the process.
Even though you know it is over - you still need to grieve to heal from divorce. HUGS for you!
