I loved my ex wife and was on hands and knees serving her for 5+ years. Then, one day, she left me for someone else.
Things didn’t work out so she came back. We worked things out but I refused to be the same servant.
No more goodnight kisses, no morning hugs, no ready to eat breakfast, dinner waiting for her. No more surprise flowers.
She went into a terrible breakdown and cried. She told everyone I was such a jerk.
She failed to tell everyone how she had it all but she ruined it.
So I’m reading this and I’m wondering what you did to get kicked out of your home.
Did you help out around the house? Did you You put in efforts to better your marriage and your relationship? Did you cook and clean and do laundry and have sex?
When a man finds that a woman is useless, it’s ok to kick her out. He won’t miss anything if she’s not an asset.
I finally found all that he had been up to. I know now that he married me for a reason and a body type that didn't include love.. He had turned all bank accts and oversight on the retirement accts. to me. I was trying to pull
34 acres out of the woods and into a farm. This man was also a stay at home drinker of 4 to 5 cases of beer a week. He married be because I could handle things. (his words, not mine) We moved thru three states and I was selling and buying our new houses. I also traded for our new vehicles. Painted the houses either going in our moving out.
The first thing I did when I found all this out was find an atty. All the way thru the divorce I was blessed or led to just the people who could help me along the way. I loved my ex but enough of his games with my life. It took nineteen months for the divorce and three court appearances. Never once did he say he loved me, never once did he say he didn't want the divorce.
I tell you this because I know you can do this too. It's been twelve years since that divorce and I'm thriving and happy with my dogs, cats, horses and this farm I pulled out of the woods. I haven't heard from the ex since the last contempt hearing when he had to give me this farm or go to jail. Go talk to a few attys and think about what you want for your life. Would you really want someone back who has treated you so badly? I hope you are seeing a therapist to help you through this. I saw mine for about four years.
A divorce won't be easy but you do what you have to do to survive. We can tell you our stories and make suggestions but what you so is totally up to you
