I am not one for recomeding books. But would like to recomend this one it really is a quick read and very enlighting.

Release the fearful past.....
gee, that's a big task! I struggle now because of my marriage past and the fear of the shit repeating itself. I've let go of pain from family, etc etc, so I know I'm able to let go and look forward. But intimate relationships/marriage are different. The pain is so personal!

Agree wholeheartedly, but I would add:

WE CANNOT TRUST WHEN WE FEEL FEAR, AND WE CANNOT LOVE IF WE CANNOT TRUST.

That was my experience with marriage.

That is such a true statement Vicar.. Trust is such a crucial part of any relationship and is especially vital in a marriage.. Many of us have had our trust thrown underneath a bus, and it is hard to recover from that.. It is important to remember that although one person has not taken your trust and held it as the precious gift that it is, that it doesn't mean that there is no one out there that can hold that trust as a precious flower and water it and nurture it.. My trust is a given , only another can make that go away, and that happens with any betrayal. I am glad that I still have that ability to trust as I would miss out on so many good things otherwise...
