Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Crying is not only OK but healthy. Praying is healthy as well.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
This is the most important thing I've found in the process. Get with people you can share/vent/word vomit the things you're going through. An online group like this is a good start. Group therapy, family, friends, co-workers, and your pastor are all good places to get your feeling out in the open and not bottled up.
There are many people here that are more than happy to give you some advice, lend an ear or just plain tell you're not crazy.
my husband decided he wanted a divorce
I am sorry for your pain and heartache. There IS light at the end of this. It sounds like you have faith in Jesus. Remember, He said He would never leave us or forsake us. This is a time in your life when you can lean on Him. Maybe that is exactly what he wants. Sometimes when we are in the valley, we are closest to God. May I pray for you?
