It will get better and keep moving forward to get yourself out of there and your own place.
i guess its good to remind yourself that we won;t always have our parents.. and the older they get the more patience we need to have with them.
but i hear you.. living with parents=shoot me now
Just saying.....
I got a $50.00 parking ticket in the mail for my car and I wasn't even in the city, she was. My car is always left on empty. Your parents hate it more than you do.
My mother was a HUGE pain in my ass..but believe me I'd much rather have her asking me stupid shit like "did you wash your armpits today" than bringing flowers to her grave.
I've often thought of bringing flowers with a sash saying "YES MOTHER i WASHED MY PITS TODAY"!
Sorry Heave, sounds like your Dad's got some issues.
Yes, I could move out and get an apartment near where I work. If I do this I will be living paycheck to paycheck and barely scrape by. I will be right back in the mess that I use to be in with debt if anything major happens.
I do not want to get a roommate. There are several reasons for this. The biggest one being that I need to be able to trust someone as my life is a bit different than most because of my work. I tend to have loaded guns sitting around in places and that is one part of it and the other part is that it would look really bad if my roommate decided to bring something illegal into the house. Furthermore, because of the odd hours I keep at times it could cause issues with me sleeping and if I get really behind on my sleep I get cranky and moody.
So the option is to stay here until I build up a lot of savings. The problem is that I have been spending a butt load of money on stuff that I have been neglecting when I wasn't in the situation to fix them. I just dropped $800 on repairs on my truck and I still have to buy tires for it. The list never seems to end.
If I get a promotion in the next year or so I am going to get my own place again. I will admit that it sucks coming home to an empty house though and it is a bit lonely. Most of my friends live far from me so this is a slight issue.
Oh well, I will survive no matter what.
The thing I remind myself of daily is that I am thankful my parents are still here and that they are willing to help me and my children so much. I also remind myself that my children are in a much better place and that I am doing this for them, I also try to stay focused on the steps I need to take to make a better life for them and to get on my feet.
Good luck to you! Hope things ease up on ya and that you and your parents can gain a new respect for eachother through this...
