kids with me today once again

My kids spent fathers day with me once again for the second year. My Son called his father today to wish him a happy fathers day, and his father told my son he was going to his brothers house today. My son felt funny asking if he wanted to do something with him he thought if his father wanted to be with him he would have asked or at least asked him to go to his uncles house with him. His cousin is his age and they do get along. So once again he shows he can not be bothered being a dad. To sad.

My ex didn't even wake up at 11 to talk to his kids, or call them back.

Oh well.....

I'm hoping he did something to celebrate last week, or is planning to do something next. It's just a day after all....

Wow, I'm so sorry for your son. Pretty sad when a dad doesn't want to spend time on Father's Day with his own child. Sheesh!!!

Yeah my 15 year old son tried calling his dad and he didn't even asnwer the phone. That's sad! I could see it in my son's house how much he was hurting. What can you do but say im sorry and give them a hug.

It's their dads loss.

Rose, I'm sorry about that. My 23 year old won't have anything to do with his father, for good reasons.

Thanks, I know it is his loss, but it is so sad, he does not even realize what he is missing. When I asked my son if he wanted me to say something he said no that he had a good time today anyway. We had gone to my brother and sister in laws house.
Lynne my daughter wants nothing to do with him she didn't even bother calling she has already given up, my son I guess still has hope that he will be there.
