For some couples emotions and hurt get in the way and it drives them to make divorce a boxing match. Divorce really is a legal procedure and a legal contract and emotions should come out of it anyway--but not everyone goes into it looking at it that way.
I'm glad to hear things are going so well with the two of you in handling this divorce. It will make it easier on both of you and your daughter. Plus it will make co-parenting of your daughter much easier too. Many, many hugs.
Welcome to the forum by the way. I'm curious. Why did you and your husband decide on divorce? Most people on here have a story of deep woundedness or adultery.
