Hi. Well, it's been just over 5 weeks since he broke up with me. If you've seen my earlier posts you'll know that I made the very hard decision to unfriend and block him on facebook, which ended up bringing about a reign of terror from him. His lashed out very angrily through a text message making me feel terrible, even though he's the one who had originally told me to unfriend him.

Anyway, here I am now. I actually tried to reach out to him last Thursday saying I think we should talk. He responded with "About?"...... I just told him stuff, football, something, anything, I miss you. Anyhow, he agreed to call but never did. At the end of that night he actually texted about the football game, we sort of have a thing for football, anyway, I replied that yes, my team would win. Nothing else was said about meeting up and/or talking and I've not heard from him since. It's day 5 since that text exchange.

I'm trying to do better for myself. I don't harbor angry feelings for him but I do still miss him. I really just wanted to bury the hatchet I guess..it was hard thinking he was so pissed at me. But now it's full on silence. I'm scared you know. I am scared he won't ever come back. It's like a death but they're still walking around.

Should I reach out to him again? Or is it better to just let it go? I've not unblocked him from facebook, I was going to maybe consider that after speaking with him, but now that doesn't seem to be happening either.

I'm so tired..... just so very tired.

My advice is wait to see if he reaches out to you, but I give that advice and would probably find some excuse to reach out. It is so hard waiting, but maybe if we stop reaching out the pain will start to fade too.

I have already made the decision to not reach out again. So, I won't. But it hurts.

Cutting off all contact is the hardest but most healthy thing you can do... I've gone through the same thing and gone for 7 days without communication before I lost it and txtd him, and then he was texting again. But then I realized I was just going through the same heartbreak over and over again.. it's getting easier, and it will for you too... If you're meant to be together, it will be, in the meantime look out for you, you deserve happiness.

He will respect you more if you stop reaching out.

He got angry at you for unfriending him because he wanted to keep you on the back burner, someone he could turn to in a time of need, but only on his terms. He doesn't care that you had to do it for your own heart, in order to move on. It's all about him.

Block him from your phone. I'm not saying it's easy, but you're setting yourself back every time you reach out to him or respond to him.

I only reached out once and that was because I thought it'd be the right thing since he'd been so angry at me for the unfriending/blocking and cutting off Amazon prime access, etc... I wanted to bury the hatchet. I hate that not only is it over for us but that he's angry. But I know to not reach out again. I won't. Doesn't make the fact that I have tears streaming down my face right now any better.

I'm surprised you're not angry. I think I would be, in your shoes.

Stay strong! By blocking him and cutting off his access to your Amazon account, you were taking back your power. He really has no right to be angry. Keep taking back your power. Let him be angry. He made his bed and now he gets to lay in it.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to respond to me. It means a lot. My heart and mind are not in a good place. I understand it being maybe too soon to bury the hatchet but I had to try, that's sort of who I am. As far as being angry, I can't be angry that he had a change of heart about me.....it happens to all of us......I'm sad that he didn't find it worth at least giving it a real fight first though. And, to be honest, I still hear about some of the things he's "up to" and I know that he's basically going out every night with his friends just having a grand old time. Hearing about that does hurt when I'm just stuck sitting with my thoughts. I don't want to be sad and depressed anymore. It's killing me.
