Hi everyone, night before moving day. I don't have anyone to talk to and I really rely on your guys' support, even the friends who said they'd come over tonight went to watch mma fights instead. He's been trying to use my care for him to manipulate me but I've been being firm in my requests and boundaries.

Telling me he never pegged me as the "vindictive" one, that he's torn and having doubts but I'm showing how much I don't care about him because I don't care about his finances or that he can't afford a lawyer. Saying that I wasn't right for him and he doesn't want to be married anymore but still wants me in his life and that's why he's been dragging his feet. How selfish is that? He wants me to continue to care for him and be there for him and do things for him but he doesn't want to to be with me or there for me in return.

Can you get away from him? Can you spend the night in a hotel or with a friend? If not, can you go into your room and close the door and LOCK IT? Another thing you can try is putting headphones on or earbuds in. Make it LOOK like you're listening to music, but don't actually turn anything on. You need to hear what he's doing in case he tries something. I do this with my stbx sometimes and it works pretty good. Is someone coming over tomorrow to help you move?

Of course he doesn't want his live in carer to leave, but that's not your role. You marry for partnership not a dependent child in an adults body. Sending love and encouragement. My husband was the same and I ended up being a single mum to three kids, the oldest was the husband. Run now sweetheart xxx

Sigh, and of course I'm not going to get any sleep tonight either. He's up all night being loud and playing his video games like every night. I asked him if he could be a little quieter tonight since it's going to be a long emotional day tomorrow and of course he didn't care. Told me it's his right to do what he wants on a Saturday night and it's his house to. Yeah it is but you would think he would have some courtesy and care but no, as usual all that matters is video games.

Know your worth and if he wasn't ready for the big commitment why would he got married. My advice is take your time off him as maybe try to work things out

I am going through a divorce right now and at this point I don't trust men, period!.
Even my own 24 year old son is a loser who only wants to play video games on his day off.
I am glad that he isn't married or dating anyone because, he like his father, have no respect for woman and integrity.
