Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
lastly, change your phone number.
they are scum for saying such things. you have to push them out of your life for good.
I'm soooo sorry they are taking their guilt and insecurities out on you. It's silly for them to be so hurtful and mean.
I would do as Clyde suggested and get a restraining order, and if you are in anyway starting conversations with him (not that they should end this way, regardless) maybe it's time to just start keeping your distance. I know you are hurt and angry, and I only say this, because I know what I have done and how it has ended. The need for contact from him is overwhelming, but then you wind up being even more sad (ok maybe these words are for me).
Stay strong. Your worth doesn't come from him. He is who is he is because of him no matter who they try to blame. Eventually she too will be the ex.
I do find it ironic that he is with his wonderful new girl friend and all they can think of is YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I guess they have nothing else in common they could be doing together!!!! They are a sad, unhappy couple, trying to get their jollies by hurting someone else.
Please consider the source and realize it isn't even worth thinking about. Please go no contact and don't even think of contacting him. That's what he is trying to goad you into doing.

At what point did some people totally miss the whole "how to behave socially and with tact" while growing up?
God, I can think of so many trashy, nasty things you could've said, but hell be damned, carrying yourself with dignity and grace is always the best (and HARDEST) way to handle bullshit.
Thank GOD you are not involved with this effing loser anymore. And, as a 34 yr old, I am ashamed that she has so little respect for herself than to bang a 50 year old who talks/treats women like this.
Trash.
I'm sorry you have to deal with this. If I knew you, and could morph into you for a minute, I would bitch slap him for you. (ok, so maybe that's not dignified, but uuuuugh!)
He may have traded me in for someone younger...but it is clear she doesn't have any class!
Tryingto...wish you could morph into me too :)
I would get orders against both of them. I would state in a petition that you did not block them because you were afraid as this frightening behavior was continuing towards you, your husband left you and divorce will be forthcoming, and you were afraid they were going to come to your location to do something to you due to the hateful messages. You didn't want to block them because you wanted to be able to read what they were saying in case they said they coming to you and you would then call 911 immediately.
Our city courts here have the petition forms online to fill out for protective/restraining orders. Your city court may have them too. You appear before the judge with the petition and he reads it, he asks you questions and then decides whether to sign.
I would go forth and do it. That will calm both of them down. And it would be no contact in any form at all. Also, you would then change the phone numbers for your cell and home phone so they do not have them and our e-mail address.
they are like bullys on a playground they are just trying to make you feel bad.... and you are not bad... hang in there... be good to yourself...realize your worth.
