It's been two months since I found out that the woman I was deeply in love with and saw my future with was cheating on me. Two months is enough time for people, family and some friends to start thinking that I really should begin to get a grip on things and start trying to move on. I know that they are slowly getting impatient with my state and constant need to talk about HER...
There are slightly better days. I define these as days when tears come just once and I can shut my eyes tight and get a handle on them. There are the days of extreme anger, righteous indignation and a desire for karma to take its course. There are still a few days of disbelief and denial. And there are the bad days. And every single day is punctuated by this incredible pining for her, physically and emotionally, I miss our friendship so much too. She really was my world.
We have been in touch, I know this goes against the No Contact rule. She has sent out mixed signals, saying she misses me. On Valentines Day, she sent me a hand-drawn heart, broken in half, listing all the things she misses and destroyed. Yet at the same time, she and her new lover are going strong. It rips me up. I know I shouldn't contact her. I just can't believe how excruciatingly difficult that is.
I can feel myself sliding into something much deeper and darker. A constant sadness and hopelessness. I just can't imagine a future without her. I don't really want to burden people with this anymore, I don't have a huge support group as it is. I just don't know when it will ever get better.

You want someone that will be yours alone and not that you will have to share with others. This person is with someone--just like she was before with you. Don't get involved with her because you will get hurt all over again and she will not stay.
