I had something similar posted hit the delete button. So it's simple this time. We have been divorced since January. Married 10 whole months lived prior together. No kids. Mine is by my late Husband. I tried each time a issue came about to talk it out. Made him go behind my back on different issues. A marriage can't be one sided. He told me to my face he lies for his own being. When I caught him lying it would be a soft blow on him. Like I was going to hurt him. Finally things came to a blow I filed. I told him why. Again after the divorce he asked why. It was like he enjoyed hurting me. Now I have nothing to do with him. My choice. He wanted to go back to his pass I don't want nothing to do with it. So he is blocked. I admit it's hard I want to tell him off some days but I let that go. My question after I said simple. I want to ask why? Why did he do things that hurt the marriage over and over? I know he would lie then do something flakey. He got the reasons why I divorced him. Why is their a part of me that needs lying answers? No I don't love him or even like him.

Maybe you haven't healed from the divorce yet. Ive gone thru the same. We were married 11 years, 3 children, he lies constantly to this day about me, mostly to cover his own mistakes, seems like to keep the blame off of himself. Sadly the three children keep us having to communicate. Guardian for children have us in counseling and it is still close to impossible for me to swallow the lies he continually says about me, even in front of the counselor, because how does the counselor know what is truth. Im having a lot of trouble with the grieving ive had to go through, and know im not healed from the divorce. Im actually engaged to a really great guy, but sadly i sometimes think marrying at this point would be a mistake, because im horribly scared.

What you want....probably doesn't exist. There probably IS no simple explanation. Seems like your wish is stopping you from moving on.

Hmm, there's an analogy. Your car breaks down and it would take too much money to fix it, so it's gone to the dump for a year. Do you still Need to know what's wrong with it? It might be Good to know, so if it's something your fault....you won't do it again... But the car is gone...crushed. Knowing won't fix that old car.

Since we have no kids together there are no ties. After the divorce we talked once I'm awhile and the things he said confused me. Saying he never wanted to get married etc. I was to stunned to go into it. He was my second marriage. My first husband passed. I get pushed to get to date but I can't.
The car outlook was actually great. My vehicle we both drove finally dièd. I knew what was wrong with it BUT I never went into depth with the mechanic of how to fix it or was it worth it. I moved on to a different one
