I don't know your story, but I know what you said sucks. My Ex and I played the "same house, ignore each other" game for one week before i told him to get out and actually separate from me. No one should be uncomfortable in their own home. I hope you find a way to get out. He can't possibly be the last resort. Good luck!

Coming from someone who is in a similar situation, it's hell on earth. Start reading or taking walks, get away even if it's just for a bit, this too shall pass.....exes suck!

There may be a whole world out there that cares...and you will never know unless you go out and look for it. It's the one thing I am determined to do and have told friends, acquaintances, total strangers :) - not to let me sit indoors and mope. If you can, get out into the world, go for a walk, a drive, preferably somewhere beautiful and just enjoy it. I found myself sad the other day because I was going to lose my beautiful garden and then I thought about what I was actually enjoying and it was the sunshine and nature. And I realised, he can't take that away from me! The sunshine is free, nature is free and all around. Even if it's only for an hour, allow yourself that. (((hugs)))

I had to do that game for two months before our apartment lease was up. I actually enjoyed that he was ignoring me. I did NOT like that he was also ignoring our daughter.

It sucks because he expects me to do all the housework. I can be cleaning up and he will sit there on his pc and throw his chocolate wrappers on the floor. Its frustrating and hes no help

Why are you living with an Ex???? You need to get on your own, or move in with family. Cleaning his mess, acting like Suzy Homemaker while he degrades you is ridiculous. He sounds like a peice of crap. You're a young woman...it's time to take care of YOU.

My ex stayed with me a few months after the divorce.

Other than having to endure his ignoring me for 3 yrs before, things got worse after.

A year later, we are doing better. My boyfriend thinks he's getting laid, and I just can't comprehend that. Sex was never a part of our marriage, and I can't believe at 51 he's going to change. I just like that his e-mails are positive. It just takes time.
