Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I remember a friend of mine who was dying of cancer, and she used to collect hugs from all of us friends throughout the day. She swore that it was the healing properties of the hugs that gave her the extra two years that the doctors had not given her when the cancer was diagnosed. She said the energy she collect from us , her friends is what kept her going.
We need that physical touch to help us through the rough times too. There is nothing quite like a really good hug!!
but im sending along some cyber ones...not quite the same, I know..
hugs..
@ jaykay - Absolutely agree! And I just finished giving my dog a brushing. She mostly liked it! ;-)
@ new2free - For me that kind of hug goes beyond the physical contact. It's almost as if I can 'feel' some part of the person's essence, if that makes sense?
@ namaste - I don't know about something in the air, except when Irene & Lee blew through... But I do wonder what senior management at my client site are smoking! They've lost touch with reality!! ;-)
By the way, the cyber hugs feel pretty darn good too! :-)
Being held or holding someone just communicates that we are not alone. Someone is there on our side.
I know how it feels just to have a hug would be awesome.
I feel broken.
