The men that don't want you, but still want to hold onto you in some form. It could be about alimony. My husband told me he won't give me anything, and hasn't divorce me. We aren't together, and I don't know where he is. I think in some states a individual can get a no falt divorce without the individual being present.

Yes. You can file for divorce. If he doesn't sign, most courts will see it as uncontested and give you what you want. Talk to a lawyer.

BTW, it's not just men. My ex ended and wanted to date others but "be friends and talk". Umm now.

I think my husband met someone, and was communicating with them online , and talking to them on the phone daily. He became shush a horrible individual before he left he told me while living with him that he got a new phone number and I couldn't have it. His wife could n't call him. Then for a month before he left , everyday when I would try to talk to him he would say I didn't want to talk, and then come around me talking to others on the phone in front of me. He gave everyone else his time, I couldn't get 10 seconds. His behavior got crazy before he left me, and I thought he was going through something because he had said he was in a mental crisis. He just was preparing to run off in the sunset with his lover.

PinkRainDrops your story reminds me of mine except we werent married. We were together 10 years and suddenly he needed all this space. He wouldnt give me the time of day yet he also wouldn't break up with me and admit he didn't want it anymore. Suddenly his phone broke and he could only email me. I guess thats what people like that do, they string you along!

I think he was crazy selfish with the things he put me through to try to break me down. He turned into some kind of monster before he left. He would go out in public and not talk to me, but have long conversations with workers a various stores. He would drive me places , and leave. I have a fish allergy, so one day I asked if we could go to lunch, and he took me to a fish restaurant. He because the complete opposite of what he use to be towards me. My husband is part Korean, his mother came to live near us and brought her opinions about me, along with a lot of drama. I was getting it from all side plus I got really ill. His mother was always undermining my relationship. She didn't want him to be with me. I never met her until threes years ago, and she hated me for being with her son.
