So I made the mistake of telling my H about joining this web support site. He's harping on it....I shouldn't be telling strangers about our personal problems, etc etc.
Not matter if it helps me, guess that doesn't matter. He told me his life is on hold for me. WTH does that mean? We're married, a team. If he has goals and dreams he needs to share them!
What am I holding onto? My dad really opened up to me, gave me his thoughts, but try to talk to my H and it's like talking to a wall. I'm scared, I'm devastated....this is the worst. One person can't make things better, it has to be a team effort. I feel it's one-sided...all he does is lay on the guilt.
What on earth am I afraid of? Just because I made a mistake and picked the wrong guy doesn't make me a bad person, nor him a bad person.
But I'm beyond scared!

it is really scary. but whether you make the first move or he does, it is still gonna be hard and scary. it's hard and scary to stay in a relationship that isn't working too. i just wish i'd have had the courage to draw the line in the sand. to tell my (now) stbxh that we needed to do something about our troubled marriage. it is hard. but maybe suggest counseling, if he's not receptive then as hard as it is, i'd consider separation. it really does help put things in perspective. you'll be miserable for so much longer, the longer you let it go on as it is now. i'm living proof of that. so sorry you are going through all of this. big big hugs and lots of support for you.
