As many of you know my story I joined DS when my husband, who I was seperated from for 3 years, finally decided he wanted a divorce. I was really devestated. I went through more pain than I tought I could handle. After about 5 months of the deepest depression I ever could imagine, I met a friend that would become more to me than I ever thought. We have been talking for about 3 months, and he is truly wonderful. I felt that my friendship with him would blossom, and I know he felt the same. About 2 weeks ago, I could feel that he was starting to act differently towards me at times. We met for dinner and he informed me that he was having some serious financial problems, and that he was pretty depressed about it. He would ask me to come over every day, but he was not really there, so I would try to cheer him up, then I would go home. This weekend, he barley spoke to me so I called him and told him that I care for him, but I can tell he is pulling away, and I am going to back off until he figures some things out. He said he is completly embaressed about his financial situation, and that it is affecting our plans together. So we ended it.... whatever it was, is now over, and to be honest I feel the pain so bad. I feel all the pain all over again, of being alone, no one there. I feel so alone, and depressed myself. I know he cares about me, but the stress of the relationship is too much. But I feel like it's my husband leaving all over again.... I guess it's pretty obvious I never got over my ex husband, but he was the one who helped me as a friend get through him leaving. I am really hurt and confused.
