i promise i will try and make this short
wife had multiple emotional phone affairs adn confessed we lilved in same house for 2 months after after some talk since i have no where else to go she movied in with her mom unitlil she found a place and being that even though we both had mutual issues her affairs were the straw that broke the camels back. anyhow the mortgage loan for our house is in her name the deed in both, the agreement was i pay the mortgage and stay in the house if i ever Need to have to or want to move, she gets the house back or we sell it. so anyhow i have been paying the bills and getting everything taken care of with the hosue, but money is very tight, i have our kids alot and well sometimes its tough cause no money to do much, anyhow i have been contemplating downsizing, i mean its a 14 room hours 4 bedroom, the kids sleep at my house 5 days a week but we could go smaller, so i tell my wife i am contemplating this. last week. this week its only wednesday, and i am gettnig a buch of people telling me what i am doing is wrong and asking me how i could possible do this,
i have no idea what they are ferreing to, but i found out last night my STBX's mother is telling people i am loosing the house and tan king on paying the bills to screw her credit, ha if anyt hing i am cleaning up on my own some of the joint bills and outr bills have never been cleaner, since i am trying to cut bills by getting them paid off.
so now my question is there a legal way to shut my STBX MIL up

What's she saying is crazy talk anyway, as by you paying the mortgage, it's only HELPING your wife's credit.
regarding the house:
most would say to sell the house during the divorce so that you have separate financial lives. right now, with the overlap, there is going to be tension.
