For sometime now, I found myself questioning if I could handle everything thats been thrown at me. I was feeling as though I couldn't take one more problem or challenge without breaking. Because of the support I found here and some of the incredible things my children have taught me in the last few weeks... I will not allow myself to collapse or fail because of my Ex or my ex friend that stole her from me. I am stronger than they are and it will take way better people to take me down! I know I am talking tough right now and I will struggle with this but I know I am worth more than they could ever offer! They have proved my vaule to them and They are not worth one more second of my thoughts.

Pray i can stay strong and when I slip... kick me in the ass so I take back control of my life!

Thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful help so far.... I will be posting often!

Wow - way to go Jim!!!
What a great attitude and so right too!!
You are worth far more than the way they treated you!!
You continue to dig deep and you will find the strength to get through this all, and to handle whatever comes your way.
Also thankfully because you turn to God for help, you have such an awesome helper on your side!!
You will get through this, and will be such a great example to your kids too!!

Jim my freind your a good honest person. Dont let other ppl make you feel other wise . See now your getting some nerve and balls sorry to say. Keep it up. You are the one that will look after you .Dont go crazy lol it takes a bit of time just stand your ground man. You know whats happening you know what you have to do to keep your work in order .Good for you bro . Keep the positive way whats good for you.

I think you've maybe had a breakthrough! You probably will slip back but just not as far and every baby step away from the pain will give you the strength to keep going on to the next. Keep concentrating on yourself, be selfish for a while if you need to be and remember that as far as the 'other two' are concerned, the best revenge you can have on them is to get back to being your strong, happy self.
Now you just tell me these words back occasionally and we'll all end up on top of the mountain together! lol

Someone once told me "no one can make you feel bad about yourself without your own participation in that."

It took me a long time to understand that. It is sometimes a challenge to counter, but I am getting there.

Good for you. Once you start down a path of self awareness and self respect, the benefits are irreversible.

Awesome! Glad to hear you are feeling stronger and that you understand that you are in control of your life - not them. The best revenge is living a good life, so don't let them see that they're getting to you. Even if you have to "fake it until you make it!" Stay strong and keep that positive energy flowing!
