A former boss emailed me yesterday and I went in for an interview. We were both laid off at different times a few years ago. He was the best boss ever and I want this job so badly.
He told me the salary outright and went into detail about the benefits and a benevolent committee... He kept refering to how we did things and said I was qualified for the job... He pulled out a stack of invoices to show me what I would be doing exactly... would he have done this if he wasn't going to offer me the job? I emailed him a thank you and he replied immediately that I was at the top of his short list and would be in touch next week.
Some of you might remember my post about my current boss is an asshole, please pray for me, I need this job so badly! It's closer to home, the right hours for me and my kids, and MO MONEY!!!

My current boss was very calm when I gave him the news, but because he has a vacation planned next week, insists I work the full 2 week notice, down to the day! I feel so good already, just knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
